Reporting Someone with Driving Problems – Participant Guidebook Page 98 • Only medical practitioners, police officers, State's attorneys, members of the judiciary, or immediate family members may submit information to the Secretary of State relative to medical conditions that interfere with the person's ability to operate a motor vehicle safely. All information reported shall be confidential. Information must be submitted in writing and shall include the name of the person submitting the information. ADDITIONAL STATE INFORMATION • While this course has been approved by the Illinois Secretary of State's office, it is important to understand the limitations of the liability insurance premium reduction and all participants should consult their insurance carrier regarding this premium reduction.
